A Guide to Our Scent Families

Every scent belongs to one of six families. They aren't rules so much as a compass — a way to name the feeling you're after before you ever strike a match.

Woody scents are grounding and warm: sandalwood, cedar, and dry amber that settle a room the way dusk settles a street. Reach for these when you want quiet, and a little weight.

Floral is our most expressive family — jasmine, rose, neroli — soft and alive without ever turning sweet. It's the scent of a window left open in spring.

Green leans cool and botanical: crushed leaves, fig, vetiver, a garden after rain. Citrus sits on the bright end, all bergamot and blood orange, sharp and clean and awake.

Gourmand is the comfort family — vanilla, tonka, a whisper of caramel — cozy but never cloying. And Aquatic is our most open note: salt air, driftwood, and cool mineral water, the closest thing to a coastline you can keep indoors.
